Dr. Christopher Jero teaches Old Testament courses through Columbia International University
(Columbia, SC) and Mars Hill Academy (Mason, OH). He lives in Cincinnati with his wife Rebecca and four children and is a member of the Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills.
Dr. Jero studied music as an undergraduate at the University of Northern Iowa. After working in the music industry in New York for several years, including a professional internship at the Juilliard School, he went on to obtain an M.A. in Old Testament from Columbia International University and a Ph.D. in Hebrew and Cognate Studies from Hebrew Union College.
He has written and lectured on the subject of interpreting biblical narrative and has recently published on the topic of narrative interpretation in the Bulletin for Biblical Review. Dr. Jero's desire is to serve the Church of Jesus Christ by assisting Christian leaders and their congregations to interpret Scripture and to recognize its clear call on the life of all people.
