Who is God?

God creates via human agency (Exo.38.22ff). God is the only true God. He sent Jesus (John 17.3). Jesus was with God and had glory with God "before the world existed" (John 17.5).

Who is man?

Men and women are generous and skilled to accomplish what God has commanded (Exo.38). Man's identity is either in this world or in the One who existed before this world (John 17). Blessed is the man who is one with God and with his brother (John 17.22-24).

Where is the Gospel?

The plan becomes reality - the altar, basin, and court are constructed (Exo.38; cf.27 & 30.17-21). The basin was used to cleanse the priests so that they could serve near to God. Jesus fulfills this type (John 13.8; Rev.7.14, 22.14). To know God and to know Jesus is to have eternal life (John 17.3). Jesus consecrates himself so that his disciples can be sanctified in God's truth and do his work in this world (John 17.19). Jesus prays for us (John 17.2-26)! We have a good future in him.
